REV WAR RELICS CROWN POINT RELICS A nice group of artifacts dug at Crown Point, New York, major military base for the American Revolution. 1) Hand forged iron hoe, approx 5 x 3", w trowel style forged shank, wood gone, 2) Socketed adze blade, 4 x 2", 3) Entrenching shovel, crescent blade edge, originally attached to wooden spade, now gone, approx 8 x 2 1/2", w reinforcing edge remaining on one side, 4) Wrought iron chisel, w diggers ink label. 9" long, 5) Wrought iron wedge, 7" x 3", 6) Awl, approx 10", 7) Brass buckle frame, a pprox 2 x 1.5", 8) Wrought spike, end curved for pothook, approx 5", 9) pair of iron spikes, 3-5" long.
