Civil War National Delegate Medal for the 42nd National Grand Army Encampment at Toledo, Ohio 1908. Large 4-pc bronze medal depicts Battle of Lake Erie, US Naval Hero Oliver H Perry, enamelled GAR, & eagle w crossed cannons pin. Ribbon is age darkened but sound, w original lined medal box pencil inscribed "Gen Steadman".The box lid is nicley marked for the National Encampment Toledo, inside has an early collector's label. The box & lid are sound w edge wear. |
