Group of 26 Civil War era CDV photos of notable new York officials, these appear to have come from an album, each of the 16 pages' size vary- approx 4 x 5", some w a CDV on each side. Each CDV mat is ink autographed by the subject, include the city or town, I believe they were members of the New York State Constitutional Convention of 1866; every CDV has a backmark by photographers Jeffers & McDonald, Albany, NY". Names include Sol Townsend, Isaac Verplanck, MH Lawrence, Wm D Veeder, LS Ketcham, LF Bowen, AC Paige, JP Armstrong, etc. All images vg, the mats are cut or trimmed. The 26 photos |
