A nice complete single-sheet issue of the famous Queen Anne's War era 18th century newspaper "The Tatler", the April 11, 1710 issue of the notable London newspaper publ by Isaac Bickerstaff; this issue features a writer's account of "making music" with the fair sex, also ads for remarkable cures for the vapors and fever. The Tatler was perhaps the most widely read gossip sheet in early Colonial American coffeehouses. VG. |
