a nice group of 8 original 1820s Arrest Warrants issued at Rockingham, New Hampshire, 1794 to 1841, each complaint accusing defendant of crimes ranging from assault with a spade to theft of a pistol. Each 3-4pp ink document is sgd by the complaining citizen & the Rockingham Justice of the Peace, ordering the Sheriff to apprehend the named defendant & bring to court to answer the charges, some also signed by the arresting Deputy Sheriff.
