A very nice cast Mexican Silver US Engineers castle insignia, sand cast and exact size of the hat insignia but reverse w integral cast loops. Possibly used on a horse saddle blanket as a shabraque. This came w a Mexican War era sapper cartridge box plate, possibly a West Point officer relic. Approx 2.8 x 2.2".
