Louisville, Oct 30, 1862, relinquishing command of the Army of the Ohio to General Rosecrans, praisng his command for driving the enemy from Kentucky's borders, & prays for rapid restoration of the Union. 1p 8 x 5" ptd, w large logo "HQ Army of the Ohio" Louisville". General Buell is credited with saving Grant's army at Shiloh.
