A very nice & scarce early War British shell casing- approx 17" tall necked casing, for 3" shell. Base is dated 1940 making it the first pre- Dunkirk WW2 Brit case I have ever seen, w British ordnance marks, broad arrows, etc; the primer is fired, inert & dates 1939. vg. I believe this is a tank round casing |
