a nice Pre- Civil War pair of gold bullion fringed epaulets w a 1.5" gold/silver embroidered "VC1" for "First Volunteer Company", with a blue backing. The bullion fringe & epaulets are excellent. The undersides are padded yellow linen with gilt hinged attachments. Exc condition, circa 1850. |
