| A very rare group of 10 US Army Orders pertaining to Alcatraz, incl 3 US Army Orders, issued at HQ Dept of California, San Francisco appointing officers for the trials of prisoners at Alcatraz Island, 4 orders sending various Army prisoners to Alcatraz , 2 Orders sending Army paymasters to Alcatraz Island to pay ther troops, 1 order reassigns officer to Alcatraz Island. All orders issued 1870-1872, each approx 8 x10' ptd/ink, most ink sgd by Genl Schofeld's ADC and stamped dockets. All good to vg, edges trimmed, a few w stains. The group of 10 Orders |
