An historic circa 1801 repirnt of the Maryland Journal and Baltimore Advertiser, Aug 20, 1773 vol 1 issue 1, with the large advertisement by George Washington, Mount Vernon, offering his western lands on the Ohio & Kanhawa Rivers for sale, refers buyers to self "near Alexandria", or his agent, Mr Lund Washington; also an article defending the refusal of Marylanders to pay tithes to the Church of England, defending the separation of Church and State! Originally publ by William Goddard, Baltimore, I believe this 4pp reprint was issued in 1801 on the Death of Washington. Age dark, sturdy old rag paper w small tears at margins.
