a great group of 6 original heavy wrought brass ankle bracelets w knobbed ends. These Arab trade braceletws were worn by slave & tribal village women Nubia, Sudan and Upper Egypt. All are circa 1800-early 1900s. Avg diameter 4-5". I got these in Lower Egypt in the early 1980s. All are much worn, a couple have simple line decorations The group
