Gall was a fearless leader of the Sitting Bull warriors at Little Big Horn- he charged alone into the mass of Custer's troopers, seizing their company banner. A very scarce image of Gall, early 1880s , w headdress feather bonnet, beaded buckskin jacket, and caption on front "Gall Leader of the Custer Massacre. The Great Orator of the Sioux Nation". Vg. No photo imprint. The only copy of this image I have seen is at The Custer Museum. The image was made by George W Scott, 1882. |
