a very wicked looking French Infantry rifle bayonet with blade edge handsomely engraved "Mfre d' Armes de' St Etienne Avril 1876 " . Brass pommel, w walnut grips and locking spring works. The curved guard has ordnance inspecter markings and is serial numbered.The blade is uncleaned but w pleasing patina, no pitting. The blade is 20.5", bayonet is 25" overall. A great den decorater! Vg. No scabbard.
