Following the Blooodiest Day of the War, The Army of Potomac went into camp at Knoxville, Maryland, and McClellan attempted to re-establish order over the demoralized Army. General Order 167, issued at HQ Army of the Potomac, Knoxville, Maryland, Oct 24, 1862, by General McClellan, detailing steps to re-establish discipline in the Army.. McClellan was himself so demoralized, Linclon relieved him of command days fater this order was issued. A rare Maryland Civil War imprint 2pp ptd, 8 x 5" Very Good.
