CIVIL WAR AUTOGRAPH ALBUM A very nice 1861 autograph album ink idd to Ambrosia R Morrill, Graduating senior at New Hampton Institute, Sanbornton, New Hampshire, containing approximately 100 pages, about half of which are signed by friends and fellow students at New Hampton Institute, 1861-8164 incl some aged friends who give birthdates in the 1780s-90s, also at least 3 who become soldiers incl Bradbury Morrill, who signs as a "soldier going to put down the wicked rebellion" (12th NHV, probably Ambrosia's brother, he was was WIA at Gettysburg). The album has red/gold covers, w a few loose pages but complete. Cover wear on spine, binding vg. A nice album, most entries date 1861, merits further research.
