June 2, 1843 issue w front page woodcut illustrated article, proporting to be a Sermon or "Popular Discourse Delivered by Pompey Alexander Smash", in minstral show accent. Also cartoons of Boston fops & gossipy ladies of the Town. Inside pages w ads by "Dr Peters", claiming for cures for Veneral Diseases. Wear at edges, folds, vg overall.

This approx 37" tall shelf is 17" wide & 8" deep at the base. Comes w bio info- Lady Harriet, 1700-1792, was the Baroness of Claneboyne, County Down, Ireland, & Viscountess of the City of Limereck, Ireland. The family were notable Irish peers, & Frederick was Lt Colonel of the Royal Dublin Fusileers & Royal Irish, the Great War.
