19TH CENTURY ICE SKATES a very handsome pair of turn of the century American made ice skates, w striking yellow painted wood body, steel blades marked "Union HDW Co Torrington, Conn USA", and each skate bears one of the original 3 leather straps w iron buckles. the old paint has nice age and a pleasing patina. These skates date to circa 1890s.

A very rare group of 10 US Army Orders pertaining to Alcatraz, incl 3 US Army Orders, issued at HQ Dept of California, San Francisco appointing officers for the trials of prisoners at Alcatraz Island, 4 orders sending various Army prisoners to Alcatraz , 2 Orders sending Army paymasters to Alcatraz Island to pay ther troops, 1 order reassigns officer to Alcatraz Island. All orders issued 1870-1872, each approx 8 x10' ptd/ink, most ink sgd by Genl Schofeld's ADC and stamped dockets. All good to vg, edges trimmed, a few w stains. The group of 10 Orders
