ORIGINAL PT BOAT LIGHTS A nice group of original World War 2 US Navy overhead lights, each approx 4 x 4", 2 are brass, 3 are aluminum, w glass domes & with on/off switch. Complete & most original off-white paint remains, came from a PT boat being refitted during the War by Captain John Menzies, officer in charge of PT Boat Refitting Dock, Quonset Point, Rhode Island. I got this from his family. Vg. The 5 lights

AMERICAN OFFICERS SWORD an early, very handsome circa World War One era US Army Regulation Model 1902 Officers Sword. The 32" blade is beautifully etched with the US eagle & wreath mkd "E Pluribus Unum", and on reverse with a larg script letters "US" . both sides show US shield, crossed cannons & furled flags. The grip is black horn , with a nickled brass cavalry style guard. Vg overall. The blade is maker marked "MC Lilley, Columbus, Ohio".

US WW1 VETERAN CAPS a nice Pair of World War American Veteran garrison caps, 1 ) Forty and Eight Society Cap- The doughboy veteran "'40 & 8'" Society" name derived from the French railroad box cars that hauled the troops to the Front- each car posted a notice that capacity was 40 men or 8 horses. a striking field blue cap w embroidered "40/8", & "Post 370, Conn" lettering, and a 1" home-made wood pin button depicting a skull & crossbones & the Post number. A 40/8 Membership medal is attached- the handsome bronze medal shows soldiers aboard a boxcar, w blue/bray ribbon. 2 ) American Legion garrison cap,also bearing a 40/8 Scoiety pin, with embroidered lettering "Past Commander 8 Connecticut" & Legion starburst emblem. FRENCH RELIC HELMET BATTLEFIELD PICKUP 1927 a grim relic of the Great War- French Army helmet picked up from the Champagne Battletefield in 1927, probably by of the American Legion veterans visit to France.commemorating the 10th Anniversary of America's Entering the War. The helmet still retains paint but w dark patina and no liner. Part of its finders ink 2 x 2" label remains on the visor ""March 1927 From Champagne Battle Field French Helmet". Rust spots and uncleaned.
