RANDOLPH CHURCHILL MEMORIAL CHINA PLATE Lord Randolph Churchill was the "Golden Boy" of the British Conservative Party before his untimely death; his son Winston Churchill was driven by his fathers shadow to become the Defender of the West in WW2. An original Staffordshire plate issued in 1886 to honor the passing of Lord Randolph- octagonal 9" white china plate w color image of the Lord framed with wreath of a thistle, shamrocks & a rose. Wear on edges and a scratch on edge, overall vg, no cracks or chips.
